GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A child was seriously injured in an ATV accident in Grady County on Saturday, Feb. 28, and had to be life-flighted from the scene, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers with the Grady County Sheriff’s Office and local first responders responded to the scene. The sheriff’s office said it is not releasing additional information at this time.

Sheriff Earl Prince released a statement asking the community for support.

“This is the kind of call that affects all of us,” Prince said. “When a child is hurt, it touches the entire community. We are praying for this young life, for complete healing, and for peace and strength for the family. We ask our Grady County community to come together in prayer and support.”
