Description
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A construction worker was injured on the roof of a developing data center on Friday afternoon, leading to a tricky rescue by the LaGrange Fire Department.
Crews were called to the Google data center site at 411 Pegasus Parkway at around 2:50 p.m. The worker was hurt while working on the roof, about 50 feet above the ground.
After fire personnel and first responders stabilized the person, they brought in an aerial platform to lower them to the ground. The worker was then flown to a regional trauma center, where they are in “serious but stable condition,” the fire department said.
Officials haven’t commented on how the worker was injured.
