DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Dougherty County officials announced the county is now accepting 2025 property tax payments, with extended office hours in place to better serve taxpayers.
The Dougherty County Tax Collections and Tags Office will offer the temporary schedule beginning today through Jan. 2, 2026. Officials say the extended hours are intended to help residents submit payments before the end of the calendar year so they may be applied as a 2025 federal income tax deduction.

County leaders say the schedule adjustment is also designed to increase accessibility and reduce wait times during the busy tax payment period.
Taxpayers are encouraged to plan ahead and contact the Tax Collections and Tags Office with questions regarding office hours, payment options, or account details.
