Description
DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) — The Douglas Police Department (DPD) is warning the public about a potential intruder this Christmas Eve after they say a man broke into several residences last year.
Police described the suspect as “a fat man in a red velvet suit.”
The man was allegedly seen climbing onto people’s rooftops, forcing himself down chimneys, eating cookies and drinking milk inside homes in Douglas and Coffee County on Dec. 24, 2024.
The police department released a possible composite sketch of the suspect:

DPD said that if you see this man tonight, Dec. 24, you should not approach. They advise that you pretend you are asleep and “be good.”
The police department said they have skilled officers working to identify this alleged intruder.
