MILLER COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Officials are investigating an altercation that broke out following a girls basketball game between Miller County and Mitchell County.

Video circulating shows the fight began as players from both teams were shaking hands after the game. Players, spectators, and parents were seen leaving the bleachers as the situation escalated.

At this time, it is unclear what sparked the altercation. Officials have not confirmed whether there were any injuries or if charges have been filed.

As a result of the incident, the boys basketball game scheduled to follow was cancelled.
