LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) — The Lee County Board of Commissioners recently approved a road study to take place along Winifred Road in Leesburg.
The study will take place over the next eight weeks. Traffic engineers will look at a combination of factors including speed, car accidents and the number of roadways and driveways.

“This will measure traffic flow and speed at several sections on Winifred Rd and will also look at crashes in recent years, housing density, driveways, and things like that,” said Scott Addison, County Manager.
