ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — American Idol is reportedly leaving Hollywood and relocating to metro Atlanta.

The production company behind the music competition show confirmed the relocation, according to CNN. The company did not specify the exact location.

American Idol has been based in Los Angeles for more than two decades.

The move will happen before season 25, which premieres next year.

Current judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood are expected to return.
