ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Devon Kamar Bell, 24, who police say escaped from custody.

Police said Bell was last seen in the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue around 4 p.m. after escaping police custody.
Bell is currently wanted for parole violation, criminal trespass (FV), and escape, according to the police department.
Police said Bell was last seen wearing gray jeans and a tie-dye colored shirt. Officers noted he may have his right hand wrapped in brown gauze.
Albany police said Bell should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information about Bell’s location is asked to:
- Call 911, or
- Submit a tip anonymously through the Albany Police Department app, or
- Contact Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS.
