Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The City of Albany Board of Commissioners is set to vote on a milage rate rollback next Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in room 110 of the government center located on 222 Pine Avenue.
There will no longer be a public hearing on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 8:30 a.m. and at 6 p.m., being as the commission is considering a lower millage rate than the initially advertised rate.
Officials say this rollback will only affect the City’s millage rate and will not affect the County or the Board of Education’s millage rates.
The commission meetings are open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
