ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A semi-truck overturned on Highway 300 near Doles Road early Thursday morning after colliding with a pickup truck.

WALB crews arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. and observed the overturned tractor-trailer blocking part of the roadway.

Authorities said both drivers suffered minor injuries but declined transportation to a hospital.

According to the Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD), the tractor-trailer struck the pickup truck, and the driver of the tractor-trailer was cited for following too closely.
