ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — South Georgia Leads is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 Regional Leadership Initiative class.

The program connects leaders from business, education, government, healthcare and nonprofit sectors across South Georgia to develop regional collaboration and leadership skills.

Sessions, locations and schedule

Sessions will be held across multiple communities, including Americus, Albany, Moultrie and Bainbridge, as well as Atlanta. Programming includes tours, industry visits and meetings with local leaders.

Tuition and deadline

Tuition is $1,500. Need-based assistance is available. The application deadline is Friday, July 10 at 5 p.m. The application can be found here.
