Evidence showed Doyle was walking through the Phillipsburg community of Tifton firing shots at a passing motorist, according to court documents. Law enforcement responded to the shots fired and received an additional report regarding Doyle shooting two people at a home nearby.
The investigation revealed that Fall and Gandy went inside the home to purchase drugs. After the two made contact with Doyle, he used a .38 caliber revolver to shoot them, according to court documents.
Police found cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine following their investigation, according to court documents.
“While this case concluded with a guilty plea rather than a trial, the defendant has now been convicted of both murders and received two life sentences. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims, and we hope that this plea and sentence can help bring them some closure.”
Doyle admitted to killing both Fall and Gandy as part of his negotiated plea deal.
