ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany authorities continue to investigate a shooting that happened Sunday night at Superior Creek Lodge.

Dispatch previously confirmed to WALB that units responded to the lodge for a reported shooting. New details now indicate a man was shot in the lower extremities.

Investigators say the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time, but officials stress that full extent of the injuries is unknown until the victim receives medical treatment.

Authorities say the victim has not cooperated with police and has not yet been located. Officials also confirmed the man has an active warrant for his arrest.

Law enforcement is asking anyone who knows the victim’s whereabouts to contact his mother or reach out to authorities so he can receive needed medical attention.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details have not yet been released.
