ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department (APD) is investigating an early morning shooting incident from May 30.
According to the police report, at around 1:11 a.m., a house in the 1300 block of 9th Avenue was shot at.
On June 16, APD named 24-year-old Katelynn Snyder and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Shawntavious M. Davis, as people of interest in the incident.

The report said that two of the people who were inside the home at the time of the shooting spoke with the responding officer. One of the occupants told police that Snyder said Davis got upset and “unloaded a clip right in front of them in the air and told them, ‘stop playing with me’.”
Another family member called Snyder, so that she could talk with the officer. Snyder told police over the phone that her boyfriend said he was “going to shoot up the home” during an argument between them. However, she refused to identify him.
At the scene, the report said officers saw two bullet holes in the back wall of the home.
