Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Thursday’s crystal clear sky brought wall to wall sunshine but little warmth. Highs were about 10° below average low-mid 50s. Cold tonight as lows drop to and slightly above freezing 32-37° with widespread frost. Friday continues with high clouds rolling in for a variably cloudy and cool afternoon with highs low-mid 60s. The airmass moderates with a shift in winds this weekend.
On Saturday mostly cloudy, breezy and not as chilly. Temps rise from the upper 40s to seasonal mid 60s.
Then on Sunday much milder as temperatures rise from lows in the low 50s to highs mid-upper 60s. This begins a warming trend into the 70s early week. Despite more clouds dry conditions prevail over the weekend. Next chance of rain and getting colder again moves in later in the week.
